According to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News, McCarver and another suspect, who they identified as Anthony Scott Burr, made entrance through a side door on Sunday, July 26, while the family was out of town. They were seen moving mattresses toward the exit and examining different items.
Both returned the next day to do the same. Burr reportedly noticed the camera during this second visit, then attempted to cover his face before disconnecting the device. He has yet to be arrested but has warrants out for his arrest.
Owner Krishna Marharjan told Local 3 last week she had been the victim of three burglaries since 2020, including two in June and July of this year.
Police say the burglaries remain under investigation but believe the 2020 burglary is not connected to McCarver.
Marharjan estimates the most recent burglary resulted in more than $10,000 in losses and the theft of more than 50 items, including bed frames, dining room tables, mattresses, and couches.
McCarver is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, September 4.

She and her husband, Daniel Shoats, worked tirelessly to build their small business. Marharjan says they started a thrift store in 2009. The husband-and-wife duo later shifted from consignment to the furniture business.
Marharjan says that they started in a 1,000-square-foot building and now have 16,000 square feet.
鈥淗im and me, we worked hard,鈥?she says. 鈥淏ut he passed away two and a half years ago.鈥?/p>
